Trend Forecast 2022

There is no denying people are spending more time at home. Many have moved their offices home for good, while others are cooking at home or ordering takeout, and also entertaining in their homes instead of meeting at the local gathering spot.  Reguardless, of how home time has effected you or your family, you definetly want it to be comfortable and inviting and making us feel emotionally comfortable while there is still caos in the world around us.  We want our interiors to be a sanctuary and how we design our space weighs on us emotionally.  Color can do this for us.  Brown tones are warm and inviting and that’s why we’ll see a strong rise in the shade in leather sofas and layers of fabric.  Natural surfaces and warm wood tones will be popular as well.  We’ll see white walls with color or at least natural shades in darker tones.  Furniture with curved frames and orgainc accent tables give an inviting and cozy feel.

Rooms in the home serve more than one purpose.  Office by day and family room by night so your funiture must be multi-purpose that meet both needs.  Adding tech in a home to feel engaged and modern, but at the same time using vintage accessories that tell a story of your life or travels.  Foral patterns will be popular but used in a simple, non-layering way, but more of a center piece.

2022 has a lot to offer and we will continue to grow into the new feeling of how the world is setteling.  We are forced to conform and move out of our comfort zone once we step outside of our home, so let’s keep things cozy on the inside. Read more about 2022's hottest trends here.
