Dimension Is Inviting

Right now, fabric pattern is all about dimension. It is created with yarn texture, weave techniques, or printed art. Dimension is inviting and appealing.  New fabrics from Best Home Furnishings provide a wide range of styling that add texture and dimension to a room.  Modern jacquard patterns such as Kaya combines soft novelty and chenille yarn to create an interesting ground for its simple linear pattern.  Kaya has a nature color background its hand drawn linear imagery in shades of blue gives the pattern a modern and artisanal feel.  Another pattern with shades of blue is pattern Tabby.  It’s a trend forward version of a cheetah, when every room needs a touch of skin.

Printed fabrics can add another element to the look.  Prints use a base cloth such as a cotton duck, and is pigmented with color to create pattern.  The print shown is a Jacobean design that adds a lot of color, and gives a majestic personality.

Also pictured, are heavy textured plain fabrics that have a mix of rich yarns with tonal variations for dramatic dept.  Contrasting textures with a simple dry velvet, such as the beige one shown, can emphasize the texture and pattern in other fabrics.
