Best Home Furnishing is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in a Sewing Organizer position at our Ferdinand Indiana Facility.

Job Title: Organizer
Reports to: Cutting Supervisor

Our organizers work in a fast paced environment.

Job Requirements:

• Move carts into lines as necessary following load sheet.
• Pull empties back to elevator.
• Maintain colored thread for each line, ensure denim is on bundles
• Keep supply area adequately supplied and clean of trash and empty boxes
• Order recuts and distribute recuts, repairs, and service orders
• Inform supervisor of problems in work flow order
• Distribute information to employees as necessary
• Maintain denim supply of common denim
• Ensure bundles are separate from backs when necessary
• Turn scanners on at the beginning of shift and off at the end of the shift
• Have working knowledge of other organizers
• Bring import carts, poly carts, kickout carts to bundle prep or kickout areas
• Look for missing pieces
• Order and maintain thread supply
• Assist in inventory- count denim
• Help other organizers or help in inspection areas

Education or experience required: High school or equivalent
