At its core is a heavy-duty 7-gauge all-steel reclining mechanism, paired with reinforced frame construction using 2.5" lag bolts for unmatched stability. Beneath the seat, a 16-bar coil spring system works with high-resiliency 2.5 density foam to provide consistent support that won’t flatten, sag, or break down over time.
The oversized design offers full-body comfort, especially for taller individuals, stretching out to an impressive 83 inches when fully reclined. This chair features an independent drop-in coil spring suspension. The seating system is comprised of individual steel coil springs securely clinched to #19 gauge roll formed steel channel bars. Because of the bars strength and rigidity, the chair construction is more solid when the bars are secured to the frame. Each steel coil is connected by a link-top fabrication, which spreads the weight load per spring more evenly.
This recliner comes standard with an outside reclining handle. The gravity-activated reclining action combined with our exclusive Comfort Sync system makes the operation smooth and effortless. Upgrade to power for easier transitions and more control over your recline position. Go deluxe with power tilt headrest to add a supportive head lift action, perfect for watching TV or reading.
