Employees Don Blue Apparel Leading to Best Home Contribution

FERDINAND, IN. – Best Home Furnishings’ employee fundraising effort raised $4,100 to donate to JDRF, an organization that funds research for Type 1 Diabetes.

Every Wednesday throughout March, employees at Best Home Furnishings locations were encouraged to wear a blue shirt. For each blue shirt worn, $2 was added to the organization’s total donation amount. To encourage employee participation further, Best provided every employee with a blue shirt in advance of March.

“We are grateful for the opportunity to support various organizations, such as JDRF’s type 1 diabetes research,” says Brian Lange, president of Best Home Furnishings. “We recognize there are many organizations that need funding and awareness assistance, and it’s our goal to contribute to many different initiatives that represent causes that are important to our employees.”

To further the impact and donation amount for JDRF, Best Home Furnishings will take part in a walk at Holiday World hosted by JDRF on May 19. Employees and their friends and families can personally donate through the Best team page. Individuals are also encouraged to sign up to participate in the walk, representing Best and helping to raise awareness for diabetes.

More information about donating or signing up to be part of the Best team for the JDRF team is available by visiting https://bit.ly/4bP6I5h.
